Monday Madness
Speaking of beauty, for long I have been proudly carrying my loyalty award for using petroleum jelly to moisturize my skin, esp my face and the parts that are sometimes extremely dry esp during the cold season such as feet, hands, it is best use when you are doing self foot spa. I find it really effective on keeping my face well-moisturized and preventing the wrinkles from creating a new shelter on my face like veins going all over directions when i smile, we can see sometimes when we look in the mirror and we smile all the way, as in ear-to-ear, you would notice at the corner of our eyes there are some ugly, unattractive wrinkles. The first time it appeared when i noticed it, i develop a habit to prevent it from getting permanent, what I'd do is apply petroleum jelly around my eyes (except on the eyelids) and now those wrinkles i noticed years ago are gone since i started using it.
Here are some simple and inexpensive steps i do to prevent pimples and develop wrinkles on my face;
1. Never go to bed at night without washing our cleaning your face whether you use facial cleanser or your favorite soap.
2. After washing your face, dont forget to apply moisturizer, this is every important to take care of your face, any moisturizer that works good on your face.
3. One other tip that I learned and started doing is, since we use lukewarm water on washing hands and our face (here in the US) it is best if after washing our face and hands with warm water rinse it with cold water to prevent from drying. It is because when we wash our hands, face or even taking a shower with warm water it opens our pores and allows the bacteria permeate more through those pores thus it causes visible effects such as pimples, white heads as well as black heads. Of course only if you could tolerate the chilly effect of it, esp these days that its getting colder and colder and all you want to do is wrap yourself up in dry towel as soon as we get off from the water, right?
4. Also, get enough sleep if you want a healthy skin and a fresh looking face all the time.
That's all for now, have a good night friends!

Keeping Fit in Wintertime
Ok, I know it's really coming whether we like it or not (others are anticipating snow others are already tired of it on its first day) it could get frustrating sometimes when its too cold outside and you can't do any outdoor activities. Not only that but it also gets so cold inside the house when the snow is piling outside, we tend to just sit and feast on the foods in the fridge while watching tv. Do you have any ideas to avoid gaining weight and to keep fit this dreaded winter season? That when the summer time arrives you'd still be able to wear your tank tops and short shorts without too much excess fats and jelly bellies trying to pop out your swim suit? Or your set of wardrobe would still fit you perfectly just how they used to before you confined yourself in boredom and resorted to sleeping, sitting and just eating?Some of the ideas that I came up with when we were thinking anything that we could do while being caught by the coldness inside the house, i wanted to get boxing training equipment for women like this one on the photo but husband came up with more practical idea that all of us here in the house would love, this E35 Elliptical . At first we thought we'd get a treadmill but when we went to Sears and looked for treadmills we saw this elliptical and tried it he decided he liked it better, it's got more features that would fit our requirement on how to stay healthy and fit in the cold season. So he checked this out online and bought it, after a few days they delivered it and been using for almost 2 weeks now.

"Upper body exercise provides a total body workout."
Fluid, Stable, Smooth.... True enough, for a couple of weeks of using it its working I would do 5mi. and burn 240cals, in 30 mins on the average.
I do it gradually like everyday i would add a quarter of a mile.
It works pretty good.
Keeping our body healthy and fit, it deserves it not only we use it for working hard but give it a little treat as well.

Last Hiking Before The Winter
Bipolar Disorder
This past week I have been so moody and just not feeling that great. Some stress at work although I tell you my job's not that hard, it's just that when you work with someone who is just not giving you inspiration to be more energetic or at least be a role model after all she's supposed to be being the manager, it's a little frustrating. But then I create my own world at the workplace and create a nice atmosphere as well so that's how my weekdays go by.
Anyway, there are times when I analyze my behaviors and attitude towards anything, I like analyzing things that my husband get sick of it. Even myself, I tend to have my own analysis of myself and how I deal with things. There were times when I wondered if I have a Bipolar Disorder?
Let's take a look at what it really is;
What Is Bipolar Disorder?
Bipolar disorder, formerly called manic-depressive illness, is a condition that affects more than two million Americans. People who have this illness tend to experience extreme mood swings, along with other specific symptoms and behaviors. These mood swings or "episodes" can take three forms: manic episodes, depressive episodes, or "mixed" episodes. Please click here for more information about this type of disorder.I had some scenes that I easily switch from extreme love and sweetness to bitterness? But I learned more from reading on that link above that I can't have Bipolar Disorder, because the way I behave right now is more on how I was raised and from the environment I had in the family when I was growing up.
I know I have obsessive-compulsive disorder, let's tackle that tomorrow more also, I'd like to talk more about Bipolar Disorder, about it's causes, symptoms, and treatments as well as how to deal with people who have this kind of disorder or if not just to be aware of it.
Happy weekend everyone!

Fall and Winter: Inevitably Coming!
I like the transition of the colors of the leaves, this orange against the green leaves shows the two faces of weather overlapping, the new season is taking over.
Maryland Vacation: Last hirit of Summer
My husband loves taking pictures while I like looking at them a lot (all photos in general), perfect combination, right? So I decided that whenever he has some good pictures I would upload it here and make comments and captions. Here are some of photos we had from our
These are the porpoises doing some serious shows while people are watching, whether they are doing it on purpose or not, it was nice watching them. There are a number of them swimming back and forth in front of where we are sitting while relaxing.
Sunsets always make nice pictures no matter how you take it, this is just one of the many sunset photo collections i found in my husband's computer. It is also one of the spectacular scenes to watch especially when you are on a vacation while having a lazy time.
I like this photo a lot, those two people in the middle of the sunlight make a perfect picture of a couple on vacation and just having a nice time together.

Blogging to take seriously
I have been wanting to make a blog thing where we could put up photos of the places we go to visit, or just about anything. More of a hobby and fun we could once in a while visit when we have free time. About our everyday life and so many things, thoughts, feelings.
