Business Solutions

I know I have been so busy lately. Too many plans both personal and business. We are planning to invest on some business back home but not sure if it's going to work out, so far we are on the stage when we need to assort our times when we go back home and actually start the business. I found a good site that would give us some ideas and would help us eventually, even though it's not completely related at all to our industry still we could get some info on some stuff like this. Help us with Six Sigma Education to educate us more on how to handle the business more efficiently. This is important to avoid losing money that you invested.

Am back!

Well, well well, I have been gone for a few days. Wondrin' what I've been up to? We had a little get away this weekend and a little crazy weekend as well but funful experience. Since I haven't been getting any profit on blogging and feel like I am wasting my time spending so much effort and hours on here I decided to work more hours on my job and just do this on the side for fun. Sometimes I feel like I am doing this in vain if I expect monetary profit. I also decided that I would prefer to read more than write for now because that way I could gain more knowledge that I may be able to use in the future. I would rather balance all the things that i gotta do between my job, blogging, with hubby and reading as well.

One thing about not spending a lot of time on the computer is I get more sleep and healthy lifestyle is on the go. Happy hubby too! So I get to help him around the house a little bit.

That's a little update for now.

No, No, No Drama

I had another stressful week but it ended up good. Better than I expected anyway. Looking forward for a break.

I have this co-worker that I don't know for sure if she's a mentally challenged person or just pretending to be. She's got all the drama you could possibly think about. Yesterday, she was working on something and suddenly she was in sharp pain and was crawling, you would know she was exaggerating a little and crawl her way to the break room. I felt bad though people were looking at her and she looked like she was making sure she was getting attention. On her way by the manager's office she grabbed the phone and called 911 herself while laying on the floor. A couple of minutes later the ambulance arrived. She was placed on the stretcher while the paramedics were hastily talking on the radio. I was hoping sincerely that she would be fine as well as the baby.

She's almost 6 months on the way and never gone to the doctor for a check up since she found out she was. No one knew until last week when she said the baby's foot was kicking. You can't tell that she is pregnant because she is huge and without carrying another life in her stomach she looks like she's close to giving birth.

This morning, she was showing off the picture of the baby to everybody. The baby is fine and is so huge as well for a 5 1/2 months old, and so is she. She was enthusiastic and highly spirited this morning as she walked in the door. Didn't seem like she suffered the 'unbearable sharp pain' she had the day before. Proud of her baby. The thing is, she's got barely a year old baby girl whose dad is a drug addict and can only hold a job for a week. Either he would get caught stealing or get caught dealing drugs with people at work. Who punches her everywhere and throws an iron at her, she would end up all bruised up coming to work. Whose license was revoked forever for getting caught so many times and driving with suspended license and on probation. And so many violations that ended of getting his license revoked and uncontested, according to her.

So many time she called DHS to try her luck claiming some support for her lazy and troublemaker boyfriend that she calls disable because his arm had an accident and unable to do most of the things because of that, but able to punch her hard enough to give her crossed eyes, even kill her. No luck. Kawawa. Not really, she's a druggie and feeds her baby beer to put her to sleep according to her close friends. Leaves the baby in the car while she's at the bar and drinking til she dozes, well with the boyfriend. Now, how could she afford to give a better future on the new life that she has on her belly with her situation right now.

"Marivic, can we trade bellies?" She goes
"Ahm, i don't think so B..." I replied

Came up to my other co-worker on a different occassion.

"Mary, can we trade lives?"
Mary just buzzed away laughing.

Good way to deal with that, right?

VistaPrint Multi-Services Offered

When I was back home I used to have small business at home doing printings and typing jobs. Once in a while I would get inquiries about a package of making invitations, birthdays and wedding invitations. But that time I didn't have a good printer and just didn't take the business seriously. And recently I was thinking if I did it and took seriously as I should have I would have made a decent business out of it. I found a good site for making stuff like that and not only limited to that service but also widened to website hosting. Making postcards, business cards and other services that is like a total package on your business plan. Especially if you have internet cafe back in the Philippines.

Including printing checks, rubber stamps, announcements and car magnets. Cool isn't it?

If you also want to set-up a website they have free-trial, customizable website, and publish your website and get the online exposure you need to grow your business.

Check out the free products that you may get when you sign up. For only 4.99/month after your free trial you could receive a reasonable but good service provision that you could have for your online business and other helpful assistance they could offer you. I like the services they offer, a different way to promote your business whether or not it's on the net or just locally circulated through Vistaprint labels and other stuff.Get the best price and deals on your printing needs and online webhosting.

More Blissful Years for Us

If I could just have a thousand eternities spent with you, I would. Over and over again.

I love you with all my life and for everything that I can do.

You don't know how you make me feel special and loved with all the things you do.

I can never find the right words to express how much you mean to me. More than anything else in this world.

'Jolie Twins Snafu'

It's really funny how eager the people are to see and sniff the first taste of knowing that new Jolie-Pitt offsprings have arrived. Hahaha, I have to admit I can't wait either. Even though it would take forever for us to see the photos of these new gifts to the couple as they have to choose the highest bid to pay the highest price for the first photo and news publications of the much awaited twins. Says on this article:

"If you have the story, stand up and shout it from the mountaintops," he said. "If you've got it wrong, you've got to shout it from the mountaintops that you've got it wrong." [source]
She could have given birth, who knows? But, right, who knows?

YSL Dies @ 71

Yves Saint Laurent died Sunday at age 71 after a long illness. He had battled mental illness and drug addiction throughout his life.

The fashion giant was one of the most famous designers of the last century, along with Coco Chanel, Christian Dior and Paul Poiret.

Although he retired from haute couture in 2002, after 40 years of designing, YSL continues to dominate, and his clothing is still worn by trend-setting actresses and valued by fashion collectors.

Christian Lacroix has said of Yves Saint Laurent: "Chanel, Schiaparelli, Balenciaga and Dior all did extraordinary things. But they worked within a particular style. Yves Saint Laurent is much more versatile, like a combination of all of them. I sometimes think he's got the form of Chanel with the opulence of Dior and the wit of Schiaparelli."

YSL was responsible for many modern trends including the safari jacket, trouser suits and tuxedos for women, and he was the first designer to use black models on runways.

To read the inside scoop about YSL and his friendship/rivalry with Karl Lagerfeld, check out "The Beautiful Fall: Lagerfeld, Saint Laurent and Glorious Excess in the '70s." Even if you're not a fashion fan, you will find this story of style and substances fascinating.

In a unrelated but eerie incident, a former Saint Laurent model/muse was found dead in the Seine River in Paris on March 3, 2008

He'll be remembered for his life works. News here.

Custom Shirts

We are shopping around now for our tickets for our upcoming visit in the Philippines I am so excited. I keep thinking about the fun and the foods that I could have when I get home. In fact I literally plan that the first food I would eat when I fget there is munggo and tilapia.

Along with that I have to start shopping for pasalubong or memento for the family and friends whom I would meet up for our 1 month vacation. I know that wouldn't be long enough for me to spend time with them. I was thinking I could buy some personalized custom t-shirts for the family members. That site right there has a lot of varieties of customized apparel. Hats and sweatshirts. Even baby clothes. What if we get this little reunion with the family which I am actually thinking and then get some personalized shirts and other stuffs with different designs. Good idea huh!
