A New Way To Earn

I haven't posted any paid posts lately. I am totally deserting my blogging on the other blogging platform that has lots of hang-ups but can't be consistent about it. I just don't understand their rules because they don't apply it consistently to all who they thing 'violated' their so-called rules. So I am saying, too bad it's your loss, for now I am just going to use blogger for all my blogs and buy domains from them itself. Sorry I can't be specific on what I am trying to pinpoint but I guess some people know it.
It wouldn't stop me from making any paid posts though, this is just a little compensation to our passion. Meeting friends and new people online while enjoying what you like doing and getting paid at the same time can't be taken away easily.
I found a new way to earn some bucks again. With my limited time at home and on the net I can still earn some money. If your passion is writing, sharing your knowledge or simply enjoys being online and doing your own journals and want to get paid to blog check this one out. It's fun to know we have other ways of actually earning money on the side. I am saving the money I earned through out my blogging, tuition fees coming, lots of expenses, just never-ending.

Well, Hello Pinoy Foods!

Last weekend my Filipina friend that I met at the store brought me with her to the Oriental store downtown. I couldn't wait to get there to see what I can buy. Sooo excited. Well, I got some Jasmine rice, Silver Swan soy sauce, some ampalaya (bittergourd) that I never put in the fridge ended up in the garbage bin, waaaah I was so excited to cook it with eggs and tomatoes but oh no, when I was gonna cook them they had molds. Didn't know they rot pretty easily. I also got 2 cans of Ligo sardines that I savored right after I got home with the rice I bought. Husband liked the Jasmine rice, it's also very inexpensive compared to what we buy here at the store, not bad but this one is so yummy and the scent is all over the house. Oh, I also got a bottle of bagoong (salted fish). I checked out the whole store to see what I can buy next time when I drag my husband to buy a whole sack of rice for $23.00 dunno how many pounds it was but it was pretty good price let me tell you.

They also have whole tilapia with scales and head and everything, I don't think I could handle removing the scales, plus they are good sized tilapia. Not to mention how my husband would hate me when I fry the poor thing in the pan and the smell would penetrate through the carpet and the wall. I algo got munggo that I still have to figure out how to cook with the limited ingredients to go with it. I am sure I can cook it the way I want it. They also have tuyo, different kinds but I can't eat them at home anyways so I didn't bother. I can't wait to eat bagoong with just a pinch of keylime juice, awwww. Sarap! Patago yan. May patis din sila if I feel like frying eggplants ha!

Sickly Me Here

Sniffling.

I didn't think I would catch cold too! My immune system has gotten low lately because I was worried of my health having the surgery next week but it's not as big deal as I thought it would be but still worried the heck out of me. It's a natural reaction. One thing, people have been having cold around and that's not good, being exposed to them but I am sure it would go away soon too. I just can't afford to get sick this time.

I have been feeling lazy and dizzy even though I have very little hours at work this week. Lack of activities and motivation is part of it. Somehow it was a blessing in disguise because of my health condition. Having biopsy less than a week is finally catching up on me. Didn't even take a time off after but I felt I was fine but now my arm is exhausted. Such a baby huh?!

Nikon Black Friday Deals

I had a little camera that hubby gave me as a present for my birthday, it is handy and takes nice picture. Good resolution. But I found this new from Nikon that has special features (and promotion), this Nikon BDC Slam Hunter's Package is perfect for what I want. This I could really use when we travel. We are having some trip next Summer to Europe and I think this would be a great companion to save the memories to look back eventually, right?

How was everybody's Thanksgiving by the way? Good, I hope. Have you gone Black Friday shopping yet? I think it is crazy and fun at the same time. There was a bad incident happened in Wal-Mart when people had stampede trying to get in the store all at the same time. An old guy got killed because people run him over. It is so sad. With this craziness I would definitely opt for online shopping instead than to run into everybody in the mall.

These are just a few of the features of this new Nikon:
  • ProStaff 3-9x40 Riflescope with BDC Reticle
  • ProStaff Laser Rangefinder
  • Silent Technology Rangefinder Case
  • Mastering a Long-range shot with BDC DVD
  • $50 NikonProGear Gift Card

December Again?

Ahhh, holiday week and been working like crazy! Almost December huh?!

Am I lucky or what? Well lucky because I have a job that I like a lot. And not too lucky I don't get to spend more time at home with family.

Also, snowing like crazy here.

Hope your weekend is what you expect it to be.

Have a great Sunday!

Stressed Out, Are you?

So, you are having a stressful day? I could relate to that. Not only that stress lasts for weeks, and even longer than that it could lead to depression if you really take it seriously. When you have stressful moments what do you tend to do? I resort to my personal choice to reverse my feelings, trick myself and convince that it is not stress. In other words, deny. But your unconscious mind knows well, your body reacts to it automatically even though your brains refuses to recognize it. You shouldn't take that for granted, try reading stress and health articles and learn how to handle the stress, cope up with it and proceed on the next step. There are good prefessionals to help you solve that problem, deal with it better, and get better knowledge on stress management.

The Stress Institute® is more than willing to help people with stress and anxieties. Do not abuse your health by taking it for granted, remember there's always solution to everything that comes our way.

Color My World Like This

I have never seen this colorful fall picture than this one!Looks like everything were flowers but they were just leaves! Also, you might think it is fake, but in places that weather changes these colors make picturesque views, Fall is the best season because of the colorful trees and leaves.

http://www.anonymousspace.com/albums/userpics/122142/Path_Of_Flowers.jpg

I am amazed at how the trees look dead and they come back to life when it approaches spring.

Ride That Bike!

Love riding bike when the weather calls for it? I used to, but since husband isn't much of a fan of bikes I can just hop in his car and we can cruise around the lake. If you own a bike, it's no fun maintaining it, but it's your own satisfaction to accessorize your toy right? If you feel like giving your bike new look check out this bike parts, see how you can personalized it.

Also, get your riding gear, get ready for the ride!

Somebody Broke My Heart

I am just being a lazy bum here at home all day since it is my day off I consider this my 'rest' day, like literally. All I did was listen to music. I have been listening to Sade, she is amazing. She has this incredible cool voice that could put you to relaxation at a snap. That's what her music does to me. Like I could just close my eyes and listen to her voice. I love her song By Your Side but lately, Somebody Already Broke My Heart had an impact on me. Not that I am heart broken right now, nope, just the sound of the song itself gives me goosebumps.

I put up a video below that you might like as well. Enjoy!

Commitment on Promises

Save your loved ones from alcoholism and drug addiction. I know there are people who are struggling with this problems and it's hard if they don't get any help or support from the family or friends, you can help them by going to rehab clinics. They can receive the treatment they need in a friendly and caring environment. They are committed to their mission and their goals on helping people who are seeking to get away and get treated.

On Saving and Earning

I am guilty of eating excessively lately. The reason is, I have not much to do. I have taken a little break from working which is good. A little break isn't bad. In fact, I feel rested. Not always thinking about work and earning money. Just because I can, why not? It's better than sitting my a** off at home and think about spending money rather than earning -- or saving.

But sometimes I give in to this achy and itchy habit of shopping but admittedly I'm not too bad. I haven't shopped online yet so I'm still a good girl, hehe.

Ahh, I'm still thankful of what I have and what I can do right now.

Collision Repair Experts

Even been to a car accident? I hope not, but it is something that you can't avoid sometimes but something that you don't wish for as well. I am always afraid of riding a car that uncontrollably racing to hell. Those are one example that could cause road accidents. Somethings aren't being wished for but happen, if you had a car accident and needing your car to be repaired get help from collision repair experts and have your car fixed fast.

A Friend

I talk to my friend today about my situation regarding my breast mass. She really uplifted my spirits and give me brand new hope. I always though she has this unique personality and perspectives in life. Brave and determined girl. One of my inspirations because she gives a perfect example of a Mom and wife who is able to handle life pretty well.

Thanks a lot Ann, you're the best.

High Performance Your Car

So you like to ride? I do. And when you like driving around frequently, you need s good ride. I learned that a car you're driving shouldn't just be simply a car but you need to have a great quality of cars, not necessarily sky-high expensive but make sure it has the kind this vw turbo offers. It is a necessity that you car has good oxygen for your car to give high performance and durability.

And by having good turbocharger it can greatly improve the horsepower and other capabilities to perform well when needed. Check this one site out and see what they can do to help you.

Is it Over?

Well, my days off is over and done and still nothing done. LOL. It was very un-productive. I was so disappointed that I didn't get to do what I needed to do knowing that that was the only time I could have. I should really make my to-do list somewheres and post it to remind me of never-ending tasks here at home. Sleeping too much isn't helping, my head is all foggy and dizzy.

Be back to work in a little bit here. Oh one important thing I need to do I have to work on my papers if I could avail student loan just in case I have emergency in school. I know this is gonna be tough without financial aid or student loan at hand. Ahhh, prayers, prayers.

Men's Suits

When I was in the Philippines I very much liked to get my husband some work clothes, shirts and pants. But the thing is even the large ones don't fit him. Not because he was too big but they aren't proportionate to his size. Either they were too wide or too long or both. We were able to get ties though, and quality ones. Designer ties that would probably cost $50 apiece here. Here in the US, his ties were too expensive and not worth for it's quality so everytime he's in the Philippines he buys tons of them. Even the other clothes were of quality for a lot lesser price, unfortunately suits also wouldn't fit him either good thing I found this Made to Measure. This would be really easy for him to have his tailored suits and business clothes that he needs.

They offer the suits your man need, gift ideas for Dads and brothers, even friends. They have good quality men's suits so check this out as well! For professional and business affairs, this is a good source of suits for him.

Girls Gone Bad

At work. Every workplace that you have to team-work with older women gets bad some times. I have had my experience over time. Only here in the US though, so far in the Philippines, I had some good experiences. The only thing common everywhere is people are like bees, or should I say, women. They like to swarm a flower with delicious pollens. They could be flies as well, where there are something that's stinky there they are!

I had a little argument with a colleague whom, I feel hasn't been treating me right. One certain reason. JEALOUSY. Too bad, I'm too much of a charmer here, hehe. I finally got the courage to confront her why she has been so unnecessarily mean to me. I think I did the right thing, talked to the manager and have her spanked, I hope. Or whipped... awww! Bad. She acts like a 3 year-old kid for a 60 year old. Sorry, I don't have respect for people who are trying to pull you down just because you are good. I am pretty sure this is how I looked like this morning. Ready to claw her. But, I treated it professionally, the way it should have been handled.

Treat Alcoholics

I know a lot of people in our area some of them I have worked with before, who are having problems with drinking. It's not easy when you have that problem, it could happen to anyone but you can always seek for alcohol treatment center if you ever have crossed that line. There are other good things to do than drinking. I don't even have time for that. Ahh, since I got back from our vacation I never had any. Or save your loved ones from getting a severe alcoholic.

I'm Fired!

Have you ever been fired from work or been terminated from any professional relationship with anybody? I sure have. Twice when I was 16! I cried for at least 2 night after it happened. As soon as I recovered, I stood up taller, got out, geared with more strength that got a lot stronger as I added years to my age. Pain is unexplainable when that happens. You would want to end the world as soon as you hear the bad news. Good thing, I was too young that time and it definitely made me what I am now. Made me stronger and more ready to face the life in reality.
Have you had this experience? I believe everybody do. Click on the picture and share your experience with famous and infamous firings.

Have Any Derma Problems?

I have been thinking about having a surgery on rhinoplasty but really don't know how to start. And other issues that I feel like would make difference in my life. Nothing serious really, I just feel like I would want to do it. Then I found Martin Sands and thought, hmmm maybe this is the answer. I didn't know the place here well so, I think this would be the first step for me to go, consult them. Start with very tiny scars on my face how about that?

Sunday

How's everybody's weekend? Good. Hope so.

I forgot that I have to work today. I have different pattern of work over here so I feel like Monday is my Sunday because thats when I take my off, usually.

Discovering the Real Me

Aww, lately I have been trying to create my own personal quotes and with that some infamous people inspire me. To lead my life differently, and in a good way of course. Somehow, I feel I have a very unique purpose. And only waiting for me to cultivate that? Some kind of power, maybe?

This quote below, for some reason, has been lingering in my mind all day.

Love is wanting to be free, love is knowing we will be.

Be back in a little while, I have to shut down this computer to avoid running back and forth from what I'm doing and the computer and sometimes I get hooked up reading something and the next thing I know it's already 5pm. Wehehehe.

Nepal's New "Kumari" Enthroned

In Kathmandu, Nepal a 3 year old girl becomes the new "living goddess". Authorities in Nepal enthroned in a centuries-old ritual.

Matina Shakya, the new living goddess of Nepal, replacing 11-year-old Preeti Shakya, who is approaching puberty and must retire.

Read On..

Traditionally, different cities in the Kathmandu Valley have separate "living goddesses." But the most powerful one lives in an ornate 15th century temple in an old part of Kathmandu.

On Tuesday, Matina Shakya, her eyelashes blackened thick with mascara and wearing a red and gold costume, was installed in the divine role she is expected to keep for the next 7-8 years.

"I am proud of her selection as the Kumari," said Pratapman Shakya, the father of the girl picked by a panel of cultural experts.

"I'm also a bit sorry because she will not stay with the family. But that does not matter because she is going to become the goddess. We can visit her whenever we want."

She replaced the 11-year-old Preeti Shakya, who is approaching puberty and must retire.

Kumaris are a major tourist attraction and are considered by many as incarnations of the goddess Kali and are revered until they menstruate, after which they return to the family and a new one is chosen.

In the past Nepali kings have sought the Kumari's blessings, but now the president will do so after the abolition of the monarchy. -- Reuters
Isn't the girl going to deprive of her normal life?

Trace Phone Numbers Owners

Are you sick of the calls you are getting on your phone from numbers you don't know? You know you had your number removed from the list and directories but still people keep calling you and you don't know how they got your number. That gets really annoying at some point. The thing is they are not just gonna call you once or twice, it's like they are going to keep bugging you until you answer the phone. Some people, if they don't recognize the number that's showing up on their caller ID they wait until the callers leaves a message on the voicemail, thing is they don't usually leave a voice mail. Happens to us many times. Even my cellphone number, I get unknown callers. What I would do is search it on the net because then I didn't know you could trace numbers of the people who call you that are not familiar with you.

Also, you can locate cell phone number's owners through reverse phone lookup service. Find out who's calling you through their comprehensive search database. You can also lookup missed calls from unknown phone numbers or an unknown number that appeared in your phone bill, they have millions of lists of numbers all over the USA and the Canada. All searches are 100% confidential.

Missing The Paradise

Monday, the 15th of September we headed down to Boracay and spent full 2 weeks. Two weeks of fun-ful and adventurous experience. We literally have lots of adventures, almost everyday. The weather wasn't that great, and that adds to the challenge.

--- I started updating my other blogs talk to family and now time for me to do the tasks here at home. I'd be ashamed if I don't sweep the floor that hasn't had felt the broom since left almost a month ago. So I will be right back as soon as I can.

My Location on Your Feedjit -- Gone?

I have been visiting my blogger friends' blogs since I got back home in New York. I noticed though that my location on the feedjit doesn't show as it used to be when I visit your sites. It usually shows Syracuse, New York. Wonder what happened? Could it be because I am using a brand new notebook that I just set-up when I got back here. It was completely bare when I started using it and just had to install certain applications that I needed to use, in fact there's still lots of them I need to install in order for me to be able to use this computer for my needs. I had to leave my other computer back home for them to use -- which was also fairly new. Can't even play Pandora, that's my only companion on the boring days at home since I'm not working!

Any ideas why?

NY to Manila Experience

We're finally back in NY. It was a long and tedious trip from Manila to home. I feel bad that I never got a chance to update my blogs and never really documented all my trips. I figured I was on vacation -- meaning no computer as well. Spending time with family and hubby was far more important than browsing the net. He was happy. And so was I.

I am going to sum up briefly some of our itineraries on here -- just for the record.

9/11/08- Flight to Manila
- Syracuse Hancock Int'l Airport -> Chicago Ohare -> Tokyo Narita -> NAIA Manila
- I enjoyed the trip from Chicago to Tokyo, that wasn't too tiring, slept almost through the whole leg of flight except when the Flight Attendants deliver food which was the only thing I look forward on trips. The food wasn't that great, never enjoyed the airlines foods but that would do to break the time of more than 12-hour flight. As soon as I finish the food I immediately pass out back to sleep. I just give in. All the layovers and waiting time in between was just more than enough for us to check in and to get our boarding passes and grab something to eat, relax a little bit. I didn't mind the flight on our way down there. Just because I was looking forward to all the activities that are planned to do. Excitement was overflowing.

- Everything went smoothly until we got to the hotel where we checked in the last time.
- Stayed in Manila for 3 nights and stayed in Bayview Park Hotel in Roxas Blvd. across the US Embassy.I chose the hotel because: we stayed in there the last time and the service was OK, location is good -- accessibility to restaurants and bars is OK, rates is OK, service and car rents are always available anytime. Except that night, the guy in suit named Ross - according to his name tag, was asking for our hard copy of our reservation when he could see our reservation on the computer and already verified the credit card. How annoying? Extremely. There you are, had about 25 hours of flight and would insist on seeing the copy of your reservation. Otherwise, you can't get your needed rest? He asked if my hubby and I are together? Even though it was 'obvious' cause i was the one handing him out the credit card while it was my husband who signed the paper. We said, yes we are together. Smoking or non-smoking? NON_SMOKING PLEASE. Guess it doesn't matter now, what we need is a comfortable bed to get some rest. We got to the room and saw two single beds! He already made it clear we are couple, with same last name on the form that we filled out that he checked upon and yet gave us 2 single beds at almost midnight desperate to get some sleep? Called the front desk asked for a King size bed. On 8th floor. Finally we were in the right room. Until the next early morning we were awaken with loud telephone rings we couldn't figure out where. I mean LOUD. Maybe some guests that always gets phone calls? Ok, maybe it's just for one day. I swear, the phone rings every after 3 minutes on the average that whole day. In full volume. Turned out it was the housekeeping's phone outside our room. Don't they have an appropriate area for that phone without bothering their guests who are supposed to be relaxing and resting. Endless misery in that hotel until our last minute. Not to mention every night the people in the next room where our headboard is watching TV all night with the volume fully turned up they couldn't even hear themselves.

Monday, the 15th of September we checked out heading to Boracay for a full 2-week stay -- HEAVEN, totally opposite.

15 September 2008

Stupid Day

I am in the lobby of the Willy's Hotel in Boracay right now trying to get my connection work. So far it's working OK.

We flew through Cebu Pacific this mornin' to Caticlan and it only took 40mins to get here, even less. The airbus was so tiny I could feel the maneuvering that made me really dizzy and sick.

The flight from New York was grueling as well just because the motion sickness meds were giving me a weird feeling. It has this effect that makes my brain cells numb and totally stop working. It shuts it off, absolutely make you feel like you're on drugs. I call it stupid pill, yah know like chill pill? it automatically makes me act stupid and makes my brain work backwards.

I wanted to upload some pics from my camera but I put the whole bag in the safe that I couldn't open. I don't understand why, I knew entered the right codes and when I'm trying to open the thing, wouldn't work. Gotta ask the front desk to disable the lock. Maybe my brain was acting up that time and put the number backwards too?

Anxious -- In Chicago

Etchos!

We are in Chicago O'Hare Airport right now. 5-hour long layover is too long a wait. Good thing wifi could keep us company for the long wait.

Flight from John Hancock Int'l Airport down here was a quiet one. Slept through the whole time.

Coffee In Chicago

Grabbed a cup of coffee when we got here and some breakfast. Now the wait begins. I am apparently enjoying the flights so far. it's good that I get to sleep while on plane, it's the wicked effect of the motion sickness medicine I'm seriously taking, because id I don't I wouldn't be able to cope up with the long flights

Homecoming

Thursday, 11th of September is our flight. Are my suitcases ready? Unfortunately NO. Aww! I don't feel like packing and I feel like just throw a bunch of clothes in my suitcase with a little bit of everything. Me so lazy here!!!

But anyway, I think I'm gonna get excited once I'm on the plane. Weheheh. I have all Wednesday off so I supposed I have enough time? Hope so. How about I don't bring any clothes and shop for some in the PI? But to think about it, and compare I believe clothes are a lot more affordable and cheaper here. And the quality is better as well. Aminin..!

Bloggers Warned

An American blogger was held on $10,000 bail for releasing Guns N' Roses unreleased copyright on his blog Antiquiet. How he got possession of the goods is still unknown. FBI arrested the 27 year old Kevin Cogill in his home in Culver City, on suspicion of violating federal copyright laws according to authorities.

Now, we, bloggers should be very careful on crucial topics we post on the net through our blogs. Though this is clearly a critical issue because he appeared to have actually violated any copyright laws, well allegedly.

News here

Thursday Lazy

I have been home all day and wishing I could grab some opps from PPP while doing some home cleaning but each time I check on the computer and refresh the page there are more gray opportunities. How come no white or green for me? Anyway, yesterday smorty gave so much opps more than 15 that I just got to finish 5 for my 2 blogs. But I was hoping i could still grab from PPP. Oh my it's so hard being home. I feel desperate here. How about cleaning the basement? Maybe I could find some antiques that i could sell on ebay? Hehe, not only that it will have a different once I start cleaning down there, but no not today. I'm tired!!

More Accurate Postings

I think PPP has developed a more comprehensive and more ccurate way to determine whether one blogger has already reserved that certain opportunity and it woouldn't direct them to a page that says 'sorry you do not have any reservations on the opportunity' once you get done with you 300 words - $5 worth of post. How disappointing that is? The thing is you can't reserve a second opp if you haven't finished the first one you reserved? Hmm.. But now, so far I haven't had that issue Good job PPP. And hope you approve my other blog now and start earning money again. I'm desperate hahaha.

Lose Weight the Easy Way

Feeling fat? I know these are many people's problems I noticed especially here in our area. They just eat whatever they feel like eating no matter what time of day. Say this one lady who used to always go to the place where I used to work, at around 8 in the morning everyday, she would order an ice cream cone, a LARGE sweet tea which is pure sugar and artificial tea, not to mention on top of that she would order 2 large sandwiches. And for daily breakfast doesn't sound good at all.

My friend who was only 17 had a big issue on weight also, she's too fat and too HUGE according to herself. Even though her face is really cute and pretty, still she doesn't have any confidence because of her weight. She's been so desperate to lose weight and get back her former body before she started taking contraceptive pills. Whether contraceptive pills actually is a contributor to gaining more weight a lot faster or gives you a certain lever of appetite maybe, thus making you wanna eat foods that are not necessary for you to eat. She would eat 3 doughnuts at one time. As much as possible, I believe, lessen the sweets. I know I'm guilty of that. I don't eat a lot of donuts though, I eat chocolate pies and stuff like that but still that's not good for you. But now i really have forgotten the idea of having a piece or two of pie every night.

Some people would try diverting to low fat foods, non-fat milk and yogurt, fat-free etc, etc...
Weight Watchers has developed a better way on losing your unwanted fats and weight. Having a healthy and well-managed diet the right way is important. I know choosing what to eat and what not to eat while you see anything around you is just more torture if you say NO on eating them. It's like making you a lot more miserable than what you already are.

Jenny Craig is a weight loss guru who could give you a lot of information how you could lose weight the proper way. I haven't had any personal issues regarding losing weight. It is just perfectly proportionate to my height. But I know a lot of people who are desperate to possess the body most people would envy. I would check this out for more information.

Monday Night

I can't believe how excited I am posting even 300w/$5 I take that, it's fun and really happy to be back on the blogosphere. Even though I lost my PR which discouraged me from doing paid posts, now I realized even with little and when they accumulate they're still money.

I'm going to hit the bed now, been sneezing all day and need some rest.

Shop At Your Favorite Store on the List

Holidays are coming... You know what I've noticed since I got here in the US? Every single holiday they have massive SALE in a lot of stores, furnitures, department stores, jewelries, anything. And all the fair people know about it. Holidays such as 4th of July they quote as '4th of July Sale Event', 'Labor Day Sale' and so on... It's hard to figure out where to go when you need to go shopping as the big Holiday for us Filipinos is coming soon. The Christmas time! Gifts for families and friends. Send clothes, perfumes/colognes, soaps, even electronic gadgets, computers, PSP, xbox, wii non-stop shopping right? It's good when you have lots of savings or set aside money for that purpose alone. We are used to traditions where we actually give gifts away even for some people that we don't know? Who cares about them? It's just us, Filipinos, Americans don't usually just give gifts if you're not their secret santa. But with the cyber monday you are gonna get ideas where to shop. For 2008, they have summarized the stores according to customers or visitors each year.

There are so many stores and places that you could visit for you to shop for your early gift shopping escapade. I, myself need to hit the mall this weekend, for my upcoming visit to the Philippines, aww I mean it's a little happines that we could share to our family back home so why not? That's the only way you could show them they care and that they would absolutely appreciate the deed, foe shoe! I am sure Labor Day is really just around the block stores usually have lots of good deals and offers that you may qualify and avail. So check that one out and see which store works best for you!

Hmm, about tools for Dad and kitchen utensils for Mom? Or gardening items for both of them. Cool!

Sickly

I sure am happy to be back blogging. I am just going to take it easy as I have tons of things to do. I actually don't feel good today. Haven't been getting enough sleep lately, dont know why. My back hurts like hell and I keep sneezing. Hope it's not flu that's plaguing me right now.

Auto Repair Experts

Getting on the road is not easy, believe me no matter how careful you are on driving there are still some dangers that you would meet even though we don't ask for that. Some drivers are just not paying attentions or simply ignorant or just being a "King of the Road" attitude. We don't want some circumstances to happen that but sometimes they just do. So protect your cars and check out auto body repair so you don't have to be lost when you get involved in a road accident. They would take care of your car with their excellence service. Restoring your damaged vehicles in a most modern way they coupld possibly offer.

Update

For a long time I haven't been able to update my blog. Working a lot and at the same time taking care of other stuff has hindered me from making regular update but I never failed to visit my favorite blogs. I tried.

But now I'm back. Staying home is not easy I feel a lot more tired than when I used to work more than 70 hours a week. No kidding, i feel sleepy all the time, and achy too. I get up at 11 or noon in the morning and nothing gets done at home. Right now I need to do some shopping for my pasalubong when I visit the Philippines. Woohoo.. Im so excited. Flights confirmed. The itineraries are finalized yet but I'm sure it wont be hard. I mean I have all I want to do in my mind but just didn't get them plotted well.

Three weeks, visiting the family and friends hopefully and spending 10 days in Boracay will be part of the trip. I couldn't believe I will be back this year I guess I worked too hard that i didn't notice the time is passing by fast and Im riding on it. Can't left myself left behind. I mean I think I did some good accomplishments or at least I tried my best!

So that's all for now. I will be visiting your blogs as soon as i can, I need to get back to the role because I have been gone for so long.

Looking for Properties in Florida

I haven't been to Florida. All I know it's gorgeous down there, the weather is perfect enough for romance and for family. Someday soon, I could probably fly down the area and explore the beauty of Florida. It's a very progressive area that would be a nice place to live with the family all year round or simply spending vacations over. I was checking out this Florida villa sales for properties that is a possible place to live. The Bardell Real Estate is one great company that would be a good help if you're looking to purchase a property in the area. Owning a villa in one of the most attractive spots in the world, in Orlando, Florida where the hot spots for family and friends are all year round available for you to spend time together.

This company offers great variety on property sales. Just visit the site and see what fits your wants and needs well. Feel free to make inquiries and they would be most willing to help your queries. Whether you are planning for future retirement or just a residential place, even Villas for your yearly vacation escapade.

In Hibernation

I have been quite busy and thought I could completely leave my virtual friends. I say " No way!" I always visit your blogs guys even though I don't get a chance to post on my own blogs. I feel bad, I felt like I abandoned what used to be a big part of me. Never logged on payperpost and today I decided to check and there was one opp for $5.01 and 100 words, is it worth it? Don't think so, but I made a post on here anyway.

I would try to update my blogs as much as I can. Miss you all guys. To all those who leave me messages, I am going to visit your blogs, you would see the Syracuse, NY on your feedjit if I'm not able to leave you message still I would be leaving footprints.

Business Solutions

I know I have been so busy lately. Too many plans both personal and business. We are planning to invest on some business back home but not sure if it's going to work out, so far we are on the stage when we need to assort our times when we go back home and actually start the business. I found a good site that would give us some ideas and would help us eventually, even though it's not completely related at all to our industry still we could get some info on some stuff like this. Help us with Six Sigma Education to educate us more on how to handle the business more efficiently. This is important to avoid losing money that you invested.

Am back!

Well, well well, I have been gone for a few days. Wondrin' what I've been up to? We had a little get away this weekend and a little crazy weekend as well but funful experience. Since I haven't been getting any profit on blogging and feel like I am wasting my time spending so much effort and hours on here I decided to work more hours on my job and just do this on the side for fun. Sometimes I feel like I am doing this in vain if I expect monetary profit. I also decided that I would prefer to read more than write for now because that way I could gain more knowledge that I may be able to use in the future. I would rather balance all the things that i gotta do between my job, blogging, with hubby and reading as well.

One thing about not spending a lot of time on the computer is I get more sleep and healthy lifestyle is on the go. Happy hubby too! So I get to help him around the house a little bit.

That's a little update for now.

No, No, No Drama

I had another stressful week but it ended up good. Better than I expected anyway. Looking forward for a break.

I have this co-worker that I don't know for sure if she's a mentally challenged person or just pretending to be. She's got all the drama you could possibly think about. Yesterday, she was working on something and suddenly she was in sharp pain and was crawling, you would know she was exaggerating a little and crawl her way to the break room. I felt bad though people were looking at her and she looked like she was making sure she was getting attention. On her way by the manager's office she grabbed the phone and called 911 herself while laying on the floor. A couple of minutes later the ambulance arrived. She was placed on the stretcher while the paramedics were hastily talking on the radio. I was hoping sincerely that she would be fine as well as the baby.

She's almost 6 months on the way and never gone to the doctor for a check up since she found out she was. No one knew until last week when she said the baby's foot was kicking. You can't tell that she is pregnant because she is huge and without carrying another life in her stomach she looks like she's close to giving birth.

This morning, she was showing off the picture of the baby to everybody. The baby is fine and is so huge as well for a 5 1/2 months old, and so is she. She was enthusiastic and highly spirited this morning as she walked in the door. Didn't seem like she suffered the 'unbearable sharp pain' she had the day before. Proud of her baby. The thing is, she's got barely a year old baby girl whose dad is a drug addict and can only hold a job for a week. Either he would get caught stealing or get caught dealing drugs with people at work. Who punches her everywhere and throws an iron at her, she would end up all bruised up coming to work. Whose license was revoked forever for getting caught so many times and driving with suspended license and on probation. And so many violations that ended of getting his license revoked and uncontested, according to her.

So many time she called DHS to try her luck claiming some support for her lazy and troublemaker boyfriend that she calls disable because his arm had an accident and unable to do most of the things because of that, but able to punch her hard enough to give her crossed eyes, even kill her. No luck. Kawawa. Not really, she's a druggie and feeds her baby beer to put her to sleep according to her close friends. Leaves the baby in the car while she's at the bar and drinking til she dozes, well with the boyfriend. Now, how could she afford to give a better future on the new life that she has on her belly with her situation right now.

"Marivic, can we trade bellies?" She goes
"Ahm, i don't think so B..." I replied

Came up to my other co-worker on a different occassion.

"Mary, can we trade lives?"
Mary just buzzed away laughing.

Good way to deal with that, right?

VistaPrint Multi-Services Offered

When I was back home I used to have small business at home doing printings and typing jobs. Once in a while I would get inquiries about a package of making invitations, birthdays and wedding invitations. But that time I didn't have a good printer and just didn't take the business seriously. And recently I was thinking if I did it and took seriously as I should have I would have made a decent business out of it. I found a good site for making stuff like that and not only limited to that service but also widened to website hosting. Making postcards, business cards and other services that is like a total package on your business plan. Especially if you have internet cafe back in the Philippines.

Including printing checks, rubber stamps, announcements and car magnets. Cool isn't it?

If you also want to set-up a website they have free-trial, customizable website, and publish your website and get the online exposure you need to grow your business.

Check out the free products that you may get when you sign up. For only 4.99/month after your free trial you could receive a reasonable but good service provision that you could have for your online business and other helpful assistance they could offer you. I like the services they offer, a different way to promote your business whether or not it's on the net or just locally circulated through Vistaprint labels and other stuff.Get the best price and deals on your printing needs and online webhosting.

More Blissful Years for Us

If I could just have a thousand eternities spent with you, I would. Over and over again.

I love you with all my life and for everything that I can do.

You don't know how you make me feel special and loved with all the things you do.

I can never find the right words to express how much you mean to me. More than anything else in this world.

'Jolie Twins Snafu'

It's really funny how eager the people are to see and sniff the first taste of knowing that new Jolie-Pitt offsprings have arrived. Hahaha, I have to admit I can't wait either. Even though it would take forever for us to see the photos of these new gifts to the couple as they have to choose the highest bid to pay the highest price for the first photo and news publications of the much awaited twins. Says on this article:

"If you have the story, stand up and shout it from the mountaintops," he said. "If you've got it wrong, you've got to shout it from the mountaintops that you've got it wrong." [source]
She could have given birth, who knows? But, right, who knows?

YSL Dies @ 71

Yves Saint Laurent died Sunday at age 71 after a long illness. He had battled mental illness and drug addiction throughout his life.

The fashion giant was one of the most famous designers of the last century, along with Coco Chanel, Christian Dior and Paul Poiret.

Although he retired from haute couture in 2002, after 40 years of designing, YSL continues to dominate, and his clothing is still worn by trend-setting actresses and valued by fashion collectors.

Yves_saint_laurent

Christian Lacroix has said of Yves Saint Laurent: "Chanel, Schiaparelli, Balenciaga and Dior all did extraordinary things. But they worked within a particular style. Yves Saint Laurent is much more versatile, like a combination of all of them. I sometimes think he's got the form of Chanel with the opulence of Dior and the wit of Schiaparelli."

YSL was responsible for many modern trends including the safari jacket, trouser suits and tuxedos for women, and he was the first designer to use black models on runways.

To read the inside scoop about YSL and his friendship/rivalry with Karl Lagerfeld, check out "The Beautiful Fall: Lagerfeld, Saint Laurent and Glorious Excess in the '70s." Even if you're not a fashion fan, you will find this story of style and substances fascinating.

In a unrelated but eerie incident, a former Saint Laurent model/muse was found dead in the Seine River in Paris on March 3, 2008

He'll be remembered for his life works. News here.

Custom Shirts

We are shopping around now for our tickets for our upcoming visit in the Philippines I am so excited. I keep thinking about the fun and the foods that I could have when I get home. In fact I literally plan that the first food I would eat when I fget there is munggo and tilapia.

Along with that I have to start shopping for pasalubong or memento for the family and friends whom I would meet up for our 1 month vacation. I know that wouldn't be long enough for me to spend time with them. I was thinking I could buy some personalized custom t-shirts for the family members. That site right there has a lot of varieties of customized apparel. Hats and sweatshirts. Even baby clothes. What if we get this little reunion with the family which I am actually thinking and then get some personalized shirts and other stuffs with different designs. Good idea huh!

Divert As You Could

Happy Saturday everyone!

I haven't posted paid posts in a week now. Good thing I have regular job or else I'm gonna be upset. I remember how crazier I was on blogging I would always sit on the computer all the time and not do anything at all. Seems like a good thing that now I don't write paid posts I get to do stuff at home with hubby not getting upset with me. "Says "A little too much" Aw, sorry. Now I do it more for my original pursuit to just write and have fun and no pressure. And also, you can't really make a career out of it. (In my case anyway) I recall my husband telling me this thing is unpredictable and it's not stable you don't know how long it's going to last and and certainty is technically opaque. That I have more future in my job and and developing my dedication more to it and still aim for more success that way. I won't give up blogging though, even though I don't earn out of it, this is fun and you learn yourself by lurking into the web. Just to know that there are people who are interested in the posts are good enough.

I originally thought of writing on blogs and stuff and really take it seriously because I wanted to have my own home of all kinds of writings that I could do no matter how little time I got to write some. But original ones until I realized I could make money out it, why not? And I had a sudden turn in that direction not realizing that the diversity should vary and still could pursue my goal.

We are heading out downtown and do some shopping and have dinner. Have fun everyone.

Here's The Real Closet Queen

A homeless woman in Japan sneaked into somebody's house a year ago lived undetected in a closet was arrested after the resident started to become suspicious about the disappearing foods in the kitchen.

The 58 year old woman was found curled up on her side when she was arrested while hiding in a man's top closet compartment. Arrested for her trespassing.

The resident of the home installed security cameras that transmitted images to his mobile phone after becoming puzzled by food disappearing from his kitchen over the past several months.

One of the cameras captured someone moving inside his home Thursday after he had left, and he called police believing it was a burglar. However, when they arrived they found the door locked and all windows closed.

"We searched the house ... checking everywhere someone could possibly hide," Itakura said. "When we slid open the shelf closet, there she was, nervously curled up on her side."

The woman told police she had no place to live and first sneaked into the man's house about a year ago when he left it unlocked.

She had moved a mattress into the small closet space and even took showers, Itakura said, calling the woman "neat and clean."

Up For An Adventure Like This?

I have been imagining myself of an adventure that is exactly like this. I am sure French Xavier Rosset is going to have a self-fulfillment but I wanna know how he anticipates how he's going to make out at the end of this great adventure. And would he make it? I would like to follow the story would absolutely wanna see the 52-minute documentary video when they get all done with this.

French explorer and adventurer Xavier Rosset is about to embark on a 300 day trip to live alone on a remote tropical island in the South Pacific. His adventures will be filmed and used for a 52 minute documentary.

Xavier’s only luggage will be a Swiss army knife, machete video camera and a solar panel for charging the camera. He will spend 10 months alone on an island to develop another way of life through an exciting adventure, a return to the elemental sources. Xavier will survive alone on an island without human interference and without polluting emissions.

The ambition of this documentary is to make a reflection on our lifestyle, our current system and our relationship to nature. And the most important thing is to put the dream and emotion at the heart of adventure natural.

He will find timber to build a shelter, feed on the rudimentary fishing, plants and the harvesting of rainwater to survive.

So Little Time

So many things to do, so little time. I just got here and gotta have to go back to work again.
But on the lighter side I am excited for this weekend for our anniversary weekend. no plans yet but I am sure it's something that we would cherish.

Wonder what's going on with Britney lately?

I'll Still Survive

I can't believe I just got home and have to leave pretty soon again. I'm tired but I'll be fine. I had a little rollercoaster this morning at work, it started out good and turned out frustrating towards the end of my shift. Same stupid things at work and the same people who don't want to work their a%% off. Grrr! But I survived one day I would survive. That's the line of hope for me now. It works!

Mayor At 19 Year Old

I am just on my break right now and did some bloghopping wil finish later. I need to add some more widgets and add a credit section on my sidebar for the people who are helping me build up this blogging thingy. I stumbled this story right here:

Like any red-blooded American teenager, John Tyler Hammons digs rock music, fast cars, video games and...fiscal planning?

Apparently so. The AP reports that the University of Oklahoma freshman trounced 70 year-old Hershel McBride to become the mayor of Muskogee, Oklahoma, making it the first city in the nation to be governed by a self-admitted gamer.

But while he could own any of his peers at Halo 3, the fresh-faced leader is turning his sights on cleaning up the town's politics by establishing an independent ethics commission and locking down campaign finance reporting.

"I'm sure the (city) council will work with me on these issues," he said. "I campaigned on this, and this is something I intend to push."

Tired of the same old political shenanigans, the townsfolk are backing their new man.

"He doesn't have the baggage. He doesn't owe anybody anything," said cafe owner Gary Armstrong. "It's sort of a fresh start for Muskogee."

Best known as the subject of country legend Merle Haggard's 1969 hit "Okie from Muskogee," the unassuming city of 38,000 is considered the archetype of virtuous, small town America, a "place where even squares can have a ball."

And now, so can gamers.

Forever I'm Yours

Gotta go to bed now. I am so glad we only have 2 more days and its weekend. This weekend is actually our wedding anniversary weekend. Sweet! Blissful marriage between the two people inlove. Thanks a lot for the good life and never-ending love you give me. You are such a gift to me. And I'm lucky to have met you.

You are my life and my sunshine. I love you with all my heart and soul. I love you more each day. Thank you for everything.

Forevermore...

Sharon Stone's Karma or China's?

I have been reading a lot about Sharon Stone's suspension on China's cinematic scene. And wondered what could be the reason why they would make such a decision that came out of the blue?

The 50-year-old actress suggested last week that the devastating May 12 earthquake in China could have been the result of bad karma over the government's treatment of Tibet. That prompted the founder of one of China's biggest cinema chains to say his company would not show her films in his theaters, according to a story in The Hollywood Reporter.

"I'm not happy about the way the Chinese are treating the Tibetans because I don't think anyone should be unkind to anyone else," Stone said Thursday during a Cannes Film Festival red-carpet interview with Hong Kong's Cable Entertainment News. "And then this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and then I thought, is that karma? When you're not nice that the bad things happen to you?"

I think anyone should not say such things on anybody's negative fate. I mean let whoever has the authority to judge whatever happened. And it's just God who has the right to say what could be the reason on the fatal earthquake that occured.

Does Rachael Still Run On Dunkin?

Dunkin’ Donuts said today it stopped running an online advertisement featuring Rachael Ray after complaints that a fringed black-and-white scarf that the celebrity chef wore in the ad offers symbolic support for Muslim extremism and terrorism.

The coffee and baked goods chain said the ad that began appearing online May 7 was pulled over the past weekend because "the possibility of misperception detracted from its original intention to promote our iced coffee."

In the spot, Ray wears the scarf around her neck and holds an iced coffee while standing in front of trees with pink blossoms.

Another Bond Novel Launched

I have to admit I am a big Bond fan. I know it's fiction but, imaginations can take us anywhere we want and whatever we could think about. So I guess some realities start with imaginations. I like the high tech gadgets on the stories even the old ones. Technologies are very advanced and wish they exist right? I am just a big fan of spy stories, even the real ones. Also if you ever heard of Nick Carter Novels, I love those. Like millions of them, haha. But here's another Bond book being launched (British writer Sebastian Faulks) 'Devil May Dare' Wonder how soon they would make a movie out of this if they would? And who would be the next 'James Bond'? Daniel Craig was the last one on Casino Royale.

Model Tuuli Shipster holds a case of the new James Bond novel by British writer Sebastian Faulks, 'Devil May Dare', while being escorted by Royal Marines along the River Thames in London, Britain, 27 May 2008. The Bond books will go on sale 28 May in London which is the centenary of the birth of Ian Fleming, the original author and creater of James Bond.

They Need Some Treat Too!

Isn't nice when you get home and you see your dog and he jumps on you? Happy to see you? Yeah, but they get too excited and one time I got a little annoyed that our dog Rudy jumped on me and he's been doing that for a while now. Just being a spoiled dog. And this morning he jumped right on my face and haven't coned his nails for so long. He scratched my face with his long nails, I got so mad I almost strangled him, felt really guilty that I yelled at him, so when I went home I made sure I got him something. I bought him a hamburger and a sundae. I am sure my husband wouldn't approve of coz one time he ate some hamburger and his fa*t stunk! Grosss.... So he said we should not feed him those kinds of foods. But I did today. He's happy and content and not bugging me at all. I think he's been waiting for me to bring him home something to eat. So today he just got a little treat from his Mommy. Hehe.

Look how happy he is!

His hair grows so fast, I just cut his hair and its already long again. My little baby's happy!

Lovin the purple yet? here's more I just took this picture when we went for a walk this afternoon.

Goodnight!

Ekkk Mali!

Wanna hear something funny? I was getting ready to head out to my job which actually falls on a third job. But i was waiting for my step daughter to get home. And I decided to check the voice messages on the phone voicemail. Hmm, we had like 4 and the red light was blinking meaning we have new message. I listened to the voice message. My manager on my second job calling me in to work?! Hit the next button >> My boss on my 3rd job left me a notice they don't need me today. Just about right! Then I could work on my usual 2nd job. Nice.. Immediately I changed into my uniform and out the door to the job. I'm not losing money at all then. When i got to the place I found out the manager who called me in on the voicemail wasn't even in today? How the heck did that happen? Oh boy! That was the message from last week when she wanted me work as well but I couldn't.
I talked to the other manager on duty and he made me do something anyway. Haha,

Capture That!

I have been fooling around here. Just have a little tiny bit time left before i head out to work. Gotta work til 9pm. Another long day but I'll be fine. It's only Tuesday and still have a long way to go til Friday. This memorial weekend we got a chance to take pictures and I was hoping I could get a chance to take pictures of the tulips. There were tons of them!!! I wanted to capture the beauty of all of the different colors, yellow, pink, red etc... Tons of them. But sadly we had to share our camera right now since we only have one, one that was my step-daughter's got busted. Bummer! So we were thinking we could get a new one and give the one we have right now to her. And i found this great site that we have this tiny digital cameras, I might want to get one for myself, just a little one that I could play around. I think one of these cameras here will do.

Alright, gotta run now again. Later!

I am just on coffee break right now. I am excited about my blog and thankful of Carlota, I love it! I love purple, something about it. I actually came up with the idea of the 'kariton' that I have been wanting for so long. But I know they would address the issue as soon as they can. Thanks to Ate Gigi who convinces me and gives me tons of tips and tricks to improve my ranking I know I'm no expert on this as I have 3 jobs to take care of on top of that but hey, i still have time here and meet wonderful people on my bloglist here and hope for more! Later. Oh, one more credit Avee, is always there to help me as well on my issues on my PR, thanks ladies for helping me out. And I love how your art came up Carlota.

Violent Storms Killed at Least 8 People

Another storms destroyed the Iowa and Minnesota.

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Powerful storms packing large hail, heavy rain and tornadoes made for a deadly Memorial Day weekend across the nation's midsection, killing at least seven people in Iowa and a 2-year-old child in Minnesota.

Iowa Homeland Security administrator Dave Miller said seven people were killed Sunday by a tornado in northeast Iowa — five from Parkersburg, a town of about 1,000 some 80 miles northeast of Des Moines — and two from nearby New Hartford. At least 50 injuries were reported.

"It's been a long time since we've had those kinds of injuries and deaths reported," Miller said.

Witnesses reported parts of Parkersburg — particularly the town's south side — were reduced to rubble, including most of the town's high school. The Des Moines area had heavy rain and lightning Sunday night with wind gusts of 70 mph.

Warning sirens sounded early enough to give residents time to seek shelter, said Parkersburg Mayor Bob Haylock.

"Without that, we would have a tremendous amount of injuries and loss of life," Haylock said. "People were down in their basements and waiting it out."

Iowa Gov. Chet Culver issued a disaster proclamation for Black Hawk, Buchanan and Butler counties, a move that helps coordination between state and local authorities.

Lacrosse National Championship 2008

Watching the Lacrosse National Championship right now. Syracuse vs. Johns Hopkins. I'm for Orange of course. Right now, I make sure I'm buckled up, the game is getting overwhelming and I could cry. I'm emotional what can I do? hehe. I really ca't watch this I would rather make an update here on the computer. Being a 'Syracusan', we hunger for the Championship. Johns Hopkins got the first goal following the aggressive battle on the Syracuse defense. The Orange got the penalty for pushing from left on the JHU's offense. Keogh made the first goal on Syracuse.

Pre-celebration from winning the game against Virginia Saturday 12-11

I like this site right here. I have been dying to see their faces especially Mike Abott's I like the way he plays being the saver on a few games I watched he's always able to save the team when we're getting desperate. Orange Lacrosse Men play against Johns Hopkins University on the Championship game now being held at Foxborough Mass.

Another After Shock In China

China still hasn't gotten over the devastation from the earthquake that has rattled the region a few weeks ago and just got another aftershock which measure 6.4 on the Richter scale. One died and 70,000 collapsed. I am so saddened by this disaster. An official said it has been the strongest of the 8,000 after shocks that was detected after the earthquake that occurred May 12.

"I am not afraid. We are getting used to it," a young woman, walking down a Chengdu street with two female friends, told AFP.

The death toll from the May 12 quake rose again on Sunday, with the government putting the figure at 62,664, with another 23,775 listed as missing.

Great Movie

We just watched a great movie Dan In Real Life. I laughed so hard at the scene when Dan was in the bathroom with Marie. Steve Carell is just a great actor, he's a very natural actor. I love The Office too.

Night, tomorrow again!

Too Plain!

I am not used to the appearance of my blog I guess I would keep it simple like for now since the blogger is acting up. I don't have much time to fix the problem and not much I can do anyway.

I want a nice one but just cant deal with it anymore. Gives me headache..

Over Time -- Buckle Up

Watching Lacrosse Syracuse vs Virginia could cause hypertension on Orange fans. Read my post here

Virginia's Bud Petite saved the last shot Orange made that would have won the Syracuse on 22 seconds. Tough game.

Orange won on the second overtime.
