Happy Sunday

It is very sunny here today but yet it is soo cold, brrrr! Now that my life has become so busy, the thing that I miss about my life before I started working is reading. I would always spend my solitude with books all around me. And last night we went to Barnes and Noble after dinner, I have to admit that I have diverted my interest for now on the internet. Books are never heard of lately in my system, sad to say. Well that's only a month ago since I completely devoted my time on my jobs and and on here. It's not bad, I am having fun and learning at the same time, only on a different way. I miss reading though.

Mambo Kings Play Songs of Love

One of the best books I've ever read is "The Mambo Kings Plays Songs of Love" by Oscar Hijuelos. I love Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist as well, he's one of my inspirations to write someday. Pat Conroy's the The Great Santini is my favorite of all the books he's written although all of them are great. I like the gripping emotions it gives on me while reading, the compelling stories on every page is seducing you to keep rolling to the next page. Pat Conroy has the ability to describe and make a great story out of a hammer resting on a piece of wood with very vivid description and candid imagination, takes you to innermost side of the subject by just sitting on your swivel chair or laying on your soft bed.
